Congratulations to Sandra for her efforts in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. She raised the grand total of £251.80 and provided the members with a fun morning/afternoon. The Ladies baked cakes to enter into the competition which was judged (fairly) by George Fraser - what a great job
 !!1st Prize - Sandra's Cup Cakes 2nd Prize - Margaret Watson's Pineapple Cake 3rd Prize - Alison Knight's Lemon Cake The 1st prize was a lovely painting of the Island by the winner herself so she donated it to Margaret, the 2nd prize winner. Amazingly Sandra says she has never baked before so we all look forward to her future efforts. Sandra also raffled off prizes donated by Bookers and Alex Totten who played the Course a few weeks ago. So the lucky holders of 13 and 6 won a bottle of Moet Champagne and ticketx for the Falkirk v Dunfermline match. Well done everyone for supporting this worthwhile cause. |
